William Wiley. Born January 19, 1794, in Rockbridge County, Virginia. Died, September 4, 1867, in Darke Co., Ohio and is buried in Providence Cemetery at Braffettsville, Darke County. William was a veteran of the War of 1812. The Wileys moved from Virginia to Madison Co., Ohio in 1814, to Preble County in 1817 and over the county line into Darke County in 1827. He was a farmer.
