The 1885 and 1900 censuses listed her as living with her daughter Amelia Wolf. She could not speak English. She had had four children, and they were all living.

He says that she was born Nov 2, 1822 and died 17 May 1901. Daughter Frederika came to the US in 1877. Grandchildren were born in Mazo and Metz, Germany/Prussia

The family was Pomeranian and it is likely she was born in what is now Poland.

Mr. Kenow is not found in the Minnesota records. The death record of William Kenow lists his father as "Lissa" or "Lissu," but it is somewhat illegible.
