His will states that he was "of Wayne Twp." Items: To daughter Mercy: thirty dollars, one bed and bedding, and a cow. To daughter Rebecca: Thirty dollars, one bed and bedding, and a cow. To Nancy: Thirty dollars; To Sarah: Thirty dollars. To Jonathan: One half of the "plantation" that William was at that time leasing from the township trustees. Also, a plough and log chain, and carpenter's tools. To all his children the residue to share, except the value of one waggon to be shared among his 3 sons. Thomas Pound and Isaiah Orr, executors, marked X instead of signed.
