Ralph T. Guyer, 64, Richmond native, Dies in Michigan
Ralph T. Guyer, 64-year old resident of Muskegon, Mich., died late Wednesday afternoon at the Muskegon Hackley hospital. Mr. Guyer was the principal of Muskegon junior high school for 24 years. Previous to becoming principal at Muskegon, he had taught school at Elkhart and Muncie.
Mr. Guyer was born July 14, 1887 in Richmond, Ind., the son of the late Mr. And Mrs. George M. Guyer. He married Miss Opal Lovin Jan 25, 1914.
Guyer graduated from Richmond high school and Earlham College and received his Master of Science degree at Columbia university. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Muskegon.
Survivors are his wife, Opal; two sisters, Mrs. Carl W. Wilkie and Miss Edith Guyer of Richmond; a niece, Mrs. James Munford of Cincinnati and an aunt, Mrs. Jennie McComas of Richmons.
Buried in Earlham Cemetary, funeral details deleted.
