A newspaper article (10/5/1891): A gathering of the Proctor family took place at the 36th wedding anniversary, with 65 guests attending. "Mrs. Hayward received from the brothers and sisters a silver tea and a coffee pot, and from Mrs. J.A. Proctor and Mrs. Ella Austin, a handsome revolving screen and shemberne. In the afternoon, the K. of P. Band entertained the company with some good music with choice selections such as Beethoven's Twelfth Sonata, etc. It was said to have 'prohibition weather.'"
