Mrs. Wallace B. Simmons

Eaton, OHIO Mrs. Mabel Reid Simmons, 89, residing on RR3, Eaton, died Wednesday in the Eaton Care Center.

She was the widow of Wallace B. Simmons, who died in 1955. She was the last surviving member of the family of Mr. and Mrs. Pettis A. Reid, long-time Richmond, Ind. residents. Mr. Reid, an active businessman, headed the Elliot & Reid Fence Co., Richmond.

Mrs. Simmons attended Earlham College. She was a member of the Richmond chapter, daughters of the American Revolution. She also was a member of the Concord United Church of Christ, near Eaton.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mary Emily Kitchel of RR3, Eaton, two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
