5 day 5 mo. 1827: "The preparative meeting informs this meeting that Amy Swaim requests to be joined in membership with Friends. Hannah Land, Phebe Maddock, Lydia randal, and Sarah Green are appointed to vent her on the occasion and report to the next meeting."
2 day 6 mo. 1827: "The Friends appointed to visit Amy Swaim on the account of her request to report it is compleyed with to good satisfaction and after a time of deliberation thereon the meeting with the approbation of men Friends unites in receiving her and daughters Harriet and Mary T. Swaim. Mary Brown and Rachel Hixon are appointed to inform them of their reception and report to next meeting.
